Software Audit

Most small businesses are paying for more software than they use and getting less out of it than they should. This is a short, finite job: find every subscription, work out what each one costs you a year, cut the overlap, and move what is left onto a stack whose parts actually talk to each other.

Who this is for.

  • You are not certain what you are subscribed to, or what it all costs a year.
  • Two tools do the same job because a third one could not do it.
  • Nothing talks to anything, so the same number gets typed in three places.
  • You bought something to fix a problem and never finished setting it up.

Exactly what you get.

Every subscription, found and priced

Pulled off the bank and card statements rather than from memory, with the real annual cost of each one next to it.

The overlap

What two or three tools are doing the same job, and which one is worth keeping.

What actually connects

Where your systems already talk to each other, where they are supposed to and do not, and what that is costing in re-entry.

A stack, with reasons

A recommendation you can read: keep, cut, replace, and what each change costs or saves. You decide, not me.

The migration

The moving is the part nobody has time for, so it is part of the job. Data across, accounts closed, and the old subscriptions actually cancelled.

How the work runs.

  1. 1Statements and loginsYou send the last few months of statements and a list of what you think you use. The gap between those two is usually the story.
  2. 2The inventoryEvery tool, every cost, every renewal date, in one list you keep afterwards.
  3. 3The recommendationKeep, cut, replace, in writing, with the money attached to each line.
  4. 4The moveOnce you have picked, I do the migration and confirm every cancelled subscription is actually cancelled.

What it costs.

A fixed price for the audit, quoted once I know roughly how many tools are in play. The migration is quoted separately, after you have decided what to change.

There is no hourly billing and no onboarding fee. You will have the number before you commit to anything.
